Permissions
Accessibility permission is for local detection.
macOS guards Accessibility access because it can expose information on a computer. Meeting Pulse asks for it to inspect supported app states on the owner’s Mac.
What it enables
- Looking for supported meeting states in the owner’s local apps.
- Showing the owner what Station currently knows.
- Failing closed when the state cannot be trusted.
What it does not mean
- It does not publish meeting titles, URLs, or participants to a viewer.
- It does not record audio or video.
- It does not use screenshots, OCR, or Screen Recording.
- It does not replace the owner’s judgment with a guessed “available” state.
Review the source before granting access.
